Department of Science & Technology requires Scientists

Applications are invited from Indian citizens for filling up four posts of Scientist ‘C’ and one post of Scientist ‘F’ on direct recruitment basis in the Department of Science & Technology as per details given below :

Scientist 'C'
No. Of vacancies: 4
(a) Essential Educational Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Natural / Agricultural Sciences or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology / Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent

(b) Desirable Educational Qualifications:
Doctorate Degree in Natural /Agricultural Sciences or Master’s Degree in Engineering / Technology / Medicine from a recognized University

(c) Experience:
Experience of four years in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic .Institutions and / or Science and Technology organizations

Scientist 'F'
No. of vacancies: 1
Nature of Post: Permanent
(a) Essential Educational Qualification:
Master’s Degree in Natural / Agricultural Sciences or Bachelor's degree in Engineering /Technology / Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent

(b) Desirable Qualification:
Doctorate Degree in Natural / Agricultural Sciences or Master’s Degree in Engineering /Technology / Medicine from a recognized University

Experience:
Experience of twelve years in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institution and / or Science and Technology organizations, out of which six years should be in managerial capacity for Science and Technology programme, planning, development and coordination.
