Central University of Karnataka: CUCET 2nd round Admissions

After completion of 1st round of counselling on 18th July 2011, some seats are available for admission in the following courses.

  • Five years Integrated MA / BA (Hons.) in English, History, Economics, Geography, Psychology
  • Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) 3 years standalone course.
  • M.Sc. (Geospatial Applications in Regional Development)
  • M.Sc. Psychology
  • Masters in Social Work (MSW)
  • M.A. (Economics
Eligibility for Admission : Integrated M.A. (BA (HONS) (History / Economics / Geography/ Psychology / English)

Students aged up to 18 years and who have completed 12th class / Intermediate education from a recognized Indian or foreign university / Board or equivalent (foreign recognition to be as per AIU list) with a minimum of 50% aggregate and who have secured a minimum of 40% marks in CUCET.
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) & MA (Economics)
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with economics or allied as an optional paper from a recognized Indian or foreign university (foreign recognition to be as per AIU list) with at least 50% marks aggregate and who have secured a minimum of 40% marks in CUCET.

M.S.W
Bachelors degree in any discipline (preferences would be given to those possessing BSW degree) from a recognised Indian or Foreign University (foreign recognition to be as per AIU list) with at least 50% aggregate and who have secured a minimum of 40% marks in CUCET.

M.Sc. (Psychology)
Students aged between 20 - 24 years who have completed undergraduate education from a recognized Indian or foreign university (foreign recognition to be as per AIU list) in any discipline and secured a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate and who have secured a minimum of 40% marks in CUCET.

M.Sc.(Geospatial Applications in RD)
Students aged between 20 - 24 years who have completed undergraduate education and secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks at undergraduate level from a recognized Indian or foreign university (foreign recognition to be as per AIU list) and who have secured a minimum of 40% marks in CUCET.

Last date: Interested CUCET candidates desirous of taking admission to any of the above courses may get in touch with the faculty concerned as under latest by 30 July 2011 and complete formalities for obtaining admission.
