BHMS program in National Institute of Homoeopathy

Applications have been invited from Indian citizens for Admission for 5½ yrs. Degree course (BHMS) in Homoeopathy (including one year Compulsory Rotatory Internship) at the National Institute of Homoeopathy, Kolkata, affiliated to The West Bengal University of Health Sciences, for the academic year 2011-2012.

ELIGIBILITY:
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination with five subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and obtained 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe) are eligible to apply.
Candidates should attain 17 years of age by 31st December, 2011. For the candidates who have appeared for Higher Secondary (10+2), candidature will be taken into consideration provided that the result of that examination is published before the admission and they have secured the required percentage of marks which has to be substantiated by production of documentary proof. Blind (including colour blind), deaf and /or dumb candidates are not eligible to apply for the course.

Total number of seats: 93 (Ninety three)
Selection: Admission through All India Entrance Examination. The All-India Admission Test will be of three hours duration. The pattern of questions will be of Multiple Choice 200 Questions- Physics (60 questions), Chemistry (60 questions), Biology (60 questions) and General Knowledge (20 questions). There will be negative marking for wrong answers.

Last date of submission of application i.e. 27th May, 2011.
Date of All India Admission Test – 26th June, 2011 (Sunday).
Date of publication of the result of Admission Test -15th July, 2011.
Date of First Counselling (and of Admission) – 1st & 2nd August, 2011.
Date of Second Counselling (and of Admission), if needed - 16th & 17h August, 2011
Date of Third Counselling (and of Admission), if needed – 22nd & 23rd August, 2011
