Cultural heritage conservation courses: NRLC


The National Research Laboratory for Conservation of Cultural Property (NRLC) is a scientific institution of the Ministry Of Culture, Government Of India, dedicated to the Conservation of Cultural Heritage. The NRLC was established in 1976.

: i) Orientation Workshop on Care and Maintenance of Cultural Heritage and ii) Conservation of arts objects

Duration:
2nd -12th August 2011 for Orientation Workshop and 1st September - 28th February 2012 for Conservation of arts objects

No. of seats:
15 each in both programme

Eligibility:
For orientation programme: In- service personnel handling art objects/  Incharge of Collections in the Museums, Archives, Archeology Departments etc.

For conservation of arts objects: Chemists, Conservators, Restorers or Science Graduates with Chemistry or Fine Art Graduates

Course Fee
: Rs 1,000 for orientation programme and Rs 3,000 for conservation programme
