CSIR: Progamme on Technology Led Entrepreneurship

The objective of this programme is to inculcate the spirit of technological entrepreneurship amongst our Research Scholars to enable them to learn how to take knowledge based innovations through to a commercial outcome.

Eligibility:

Research Scholars [JRF, SRF, RA from Science & Engineering Stream] availing fellowships of any central agency [CSIR, UGC, ICMR, ICAR, DAE, DRDO, DST, DBT] in universities and R & D organizations and having at least one year of research experience are eligible to apply for this programme.

Research Scholars working as Women Scientists under DST scheme and having at least one year of research experience are also eligible to apply for this programme.

GATE qualified M.Tech students, Project Assistants registered for Ph.D and Research Scholars working in externally funded project in CSIR Labs and having a minimum of one year of research experience are also eligible.

Programme Faculty: The faculty for this programme is largely drawn from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.

Selection procedure: Since the seats are limited, the applications will be evaluated by the screening committee and candidates selected for participation will be informed accordingly. The decision of the screening committee will be final and no enquiry will be entertained in this regard.

Boarding & Lodging: Selected participants will be provided free boarding, lodging and course material during the programme. No registration fee will be charged.

Participantion Certificate: The participants will be given a certificate of participation on successful completion of the programme.  It is expected that the participants will be regular in attending the programme, and perform well in the weekly tests that will be conducted during the programme.
